GCSE & A-Level Economics Tutoring

Succeeding in Economics, more than many other subjects, requires just as much knowledge and skill of how the exam and examiners work as of the content itself. Balancing these two challenges is the aim of our tutors, and how we best think our students will succeed.

What we cover

We tutor Economics at both GCSE and A-Level, and do this for any relevant exam board, including Edexcel (Pearson), AQA, OCR and Eduqas/WJEC.

Who teaches it

Economics is taught by Ben, a Maths & Economics student at the University of St Andrews with A-Levels in Maths, Economics and English Literature. He pairs strong analytical rigour with recent, first-hand knowledge of what these papers actually reward. Read more about Ben and our approach →

Our approach to Economics

As with our other subjects, learning Economics is an individual and unique pursuit for each student. However, there are common threads in our teaching strategies. There will usually be a strong focus on past papers and mark schemes. Alongside that, we find it both beneficial and rewarding to spend time placing the exam board content within real-life, up-to-date news and data.
