Our approach
Our business works on an understanding that successful tutoring requires more than just skilled tutors. Beyond that quality — still very much a requirement — we also require compassion, consideration and vision for the tutor-student relationship. We instill in our tutors the understanding that the successful outcome everyone looks for, but which is not always present in this industry regardless of the price point, requires more than just intelligence. And furthermore, that success is individual to a student and their family — so fully comprehending that vision of success is necessary, and unique in each context.
How we stay accountable
To achieve this aim, we have built a simple, open feedback loop into every arrangement. We do this because we understand that our best intentions require constant reflection and re-evaluation to become the best outcome.
Regular parent/care-giver check-in
A short monthly progress conversation with parents, included as standard.
Monthly student feedback
A quick, no-judgement check-in for the student — what's working, what isn't, one thing they'd change.
